Happy New Year! I hope everyones holiday was grand. The New Year has already had some exciting times for Broken Romeo. First, we do have the remastered classic BR albums "Retribution" and "EP92" in hand and should have them available shortly. The remastered tracks sound better than they did when we first recorded them. We're excited to have them. We hope you are excited too.2nd, we rang 2008 in with a show at Skirts.I have added a few pics from the show to our media section so please check them out. It was a fun show for us. We saw some familiar faces..some that we hadn't seen in many a long years. We also saw a ton of new faces. We hope to play out again soon! Finally I have redesigned this site if you haven't noticed. The new site design reflects where the band is now and where we hope it's going. Look for some new Broken Romeo material in the near future. Be sure to drop us a line and let us know what you want to hear at the next BR show. Cheers! .............................................................................................................. 12/05/2007 I have often been asked about old Broken Romeo recordings and where one might get a copy of these songs. At present these recordings are difficult to find and only available on cassette. I've had the original digital copies of our recordings from the early 1990's (Retribution and the EP which I kept in storage) transferred from the original source. The finished master from these sessions recorded at then Perkin's Recording studio (now Luna Recording studio) and produced by Randy McReynolds were saved on Betamax Tapes using unique and proprietary equipment which required me to find the original engineer. Lo and behold he still had the equipment. These recordings have now been transferred and re-mastered by the original engineer Steve Perkins, and will be available on CD and mp3. I should have them very soon. There are a total of 17 songs all digital and re-mastered for CD. I will update this blog when I get the copies...Cheers! .............................................................................................................. 02/12/2007 Sorry for the lack of updates. We have finally received our finished master from Oasis Mastering. We hope you like the finished results. We'll be posting some mp3's very soon. We are already working on new material and should be playing out sometime soon. ................................................................. 01/30/2006 Thanks to everyone who made it out to Vaudeville Cabaret on Saturday. It was fun! A special thanks to the Vaudeville Cabaret, The Provocative Whites and Bill from San Diego! We'll be heading North to play the ACME Roadhouse in Tempe Saturday Feb. 11th. A big thanks to the Hut, Derrick for setting the gig up, and to Saint Rorschach and Nigel's 11 for rocking the house! ................................................................. 10/24/2005 Steve and I fufilled a life long dream and got a chance to see Queen and Paul Rogers at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend! We were not only blown away by the incredible show, but also had the great honor to spend some time with our idol Queen guitarist Brian May backstage! It was a fantastic show and a weekend we will never forget! Thanks again Brian for arranging the meeting! Best of luck in Japan!
